To answer Dominique's question about the Doolittle Raider, CP on Crew 9, the Whirling Dervish off the Hornet! Major James M Parker, Jr. returned to the ZI and went back to his own Group. The 17th BG, the 34th BS and retrained in B-26's. Capt. Parker went with the COMBAT 17th BG and flew Combat Missions out of North Africa from Algeria and Tunisia in the 34th BS from Dec. 1942 until Oct. 1943. when he returned to the ZI.
