| 340th HQ Diary | Thirty-six planes went out again today to tackle the two road bridges at Faenza on the 8th Army front, but again did little damage to the structures, although the approaches were hit. |
| 486th | Mission again today and again this squadron missed the bridge. |
| 487th | Stand-down was announced last nite for the 487th Squadron. It was our turn to stand-down. The boys trying to finish up in a hurry aren't very appreciative of a missionless day particularly when the weather is good. |
| 488th | Mission to Faenza road bridge, Italy with twelve planes carrying thousands and three carrying chaff. 92%. |
| 489th | Six of our planes on the 17th went back to the Faenza road bridge on the Eighth Army Front. Probable hits were scored. |
