| Group HQ | Brigadier General Cragie, Commanding General of the 63rd Wing, always interested in the work of medium bombers, especially in the light of the fact that his fighters are constantly being called upon to act as our escort, flew with the Group today on its missions over two RR bridges in the Po Valley. The bridges were the Solignana and Piacenza RR bridges. Though both bridges were well covered with concentrated patterns, the General only able to be at one place at one time, witnessed the destruction of the Piacenza bridge.... |
