September 3, 1944 Mission to Casale Monferrato Bridges

Squadron	War Diary
Group HQ	Rail and Road bridges at Cassle Monferrato between Vercelli and Allessandria in the Po Valley were our targets today. The 489th Squadron hit the road bridges very hard and the 488th scored three direct hits on one end of the rail bridge.
486th	Mission finally left at about 1500 hrs to Italy - results - approach hit - score not yet known.
487th	Mission for today didn't take off until 15:40 hours to bomb a railroad bridge at J-642322
488th	Twelve Planes to Casale Monferrato road bridge, Italy. Another 100%.
489th	No Report
